Running in the October 2024 local government elections in the City of Kingston for Sandpiper Ward which includes the following suburbs:

EDITHVALE COLLECTIVE FOUNDING MEMBER & PRESIDENT
I am a founding member & President of the Edithvale Collective, a grassroots initiative that wants to revitalise the suburb through community-led placemaking. My leadership has focused on building strong community connections, and managing projects like pop-up parks and murals. I am extremely proud that we secured $2.3 million in funding for future shopping village revitalisation.
GENUINE INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE
I am 100% independent and self-funded. I have never been part of any political party and am standing as a local resident wanting to represent our community with a strong, authentic voice. I am taking no donations, ensuring that my decisions and actions are driven only by the best interests of the residents and businesses of Sandpiper Ward. My commitment is to you, my neighbours and local businesses, and to making our community a better place for everyone.
EDITHVALE LIFE SAVING CLUB VOLUNTEER
As a committee member of the Edithvale Life Saving Club, I am part of the decision-making and strategic planning team at the club. I organise social events to bring our members together, and help with hall rentals for community activities. I also act as the Facility Maintenance manager. Additionally, I serve as the Child Protection Officer for the Nippers program, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our young participants.
Council Elections Day is currently scheduled for Saturday 26 October 2024.
The VEC will automatically post a ballot pack to each voter on the Voter’s Roll between 8-10 October 2024.
Completed ballot papers must reach the VEC’s Returning Officer (in the envelope provided with the ballot papers) by 6pm on 25 October 2024 either by handing them in at the VEC’s temporary Election Office or by post.
Under the Local Government Act 2020, the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) conducts the election process on behalf of Council. The 2024 elections will be held by postal voting. This means you must have posted your vote by 6pm on Friday 25 October 2024.
